Indian cricket team won Icc Cricket World Cup 2011 after 28 years as they suppressed Sri Lanka with a six-wicket. A wonderful moment for all Indians. This is a great moment for the Indian cricket fans even Indian citizens. It was a momentous Saturday night marked by high emotion and poignant scenes as India, for long the game’s financial power. A magnificent inning from Indian Captain M.S.Dhoni (91 runs off 79 balls) and Gautam Gambhir (97 runs off 122 balls) guided India to glory with the six wickets win over Sri Lanka to became the ICC World Champions after 28 Years. He was chosen as Man of The Match for the final. Yuvraj SinghYuvraj Singh won Man of The Tournament trophy for his superb allround performance in the 2011 World Cup.
